Une décoration de maison unifiée par la couleur aux Pays-Bas
C'est à une styliste de VT Wonen, que les propriétaires de cette maison contemporaine aux Pays-Bas, dans la ville d' Haarlem, Hank et Suus, ont demandé de refaire la décoration de leur intérieur. Elle a réalisé pour eux ce projet, en créant une unité par la couleur. La tâche était particulièrement ardue, puisque le salon est en double hauteur et que l'existence d'une mezzanine vitrée nécessitait un traitement qui relie les différents volumes.
Un gris chaud a été choisi pour cette pièce très lumineuse, adouci par la présence de couleurs comme le rose, qui ici perd son côté féminin pour devenir consensuel et intemporel, ou de matériaux comme le bois, particulièrement dans la cuisine. Le bois a été également choisi pour les luminaires assez imposants au-dessus de la table de salle à manger, et apportent un véritable plus en matière d'éclairage dans cet espace déplafonné et difficile à éclairer lorsque le jour descend. The owners of this contemporary house in Haarlem, the Netherlands, Hank and Suus, asked a stylist from VT Wonen to redecorate their home. The task was particularly challenging, as the living room is double-height and the existence of a glazed mezzanine required a treatment that links the different volumes.
A warm grey was chosen for this very bright room, softened by the presence of colours such as pink, which here loses its feminine aspect to become consensual and timeless, or materials such as wood, particularly in the kitchen. Wood was also chosen for the rather imposing light fittings above the dining room table, which provide a real plus in terms of lighting in this space, which is not easily lit when the daylight is falling.
