C'est quoi le style rustique moderne? Cette maison située dans la région de Trévise en Italie en est un parfait exemple. C'est celle d'un couple italien qui vivait autrefois à Genève et qui a décidé de retourner dans son pays d'origine pour retrouver ses racines. Il y a trouvé une maison construite dans les années 1970, en si mauvais état qu'elle n'aurait pu le satisfaire même avec une profonde rénovation. Mais le terrain où elle était située était exactement ce qu'il souhait. C'est pourquoi il a décidé de la faire démolir et de construire à la place une nouvelle bâtisse.
Ils ont demandé à leur ami, l'architecte Silvio Stefani, propriétaire de Metamorphosi104, qui était en plus leur voisin de prendre en charge ce projet. Ils aiment l'approche de ce professionnel en ce qui concerne la chaleur de son architecture, l'utilisation intelligente de matériaux et de couleurs naturelles. La nouvelle maison à la façade couleur terre cuite en style rustique moderne, s'inscrit naturellement dans son paysage, semblant avoir été là depuis toujours. À l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, on trouve des matériaux anciens traités dans un style rustique moderne, enduits à la chaux, bois de récupération, et béton. Le mobilier design et chaleureux provient en majorité de la marque italienne Flexform, et restera beau tout au long des années.
