On reproche parfois aux intérieurs contemporains, une certain froideur. Mais ici, rien de cela, cette maison entre design et couleur réalisée par l’architecte d’intérieur Anastasia Kuznetsova, pour sa propre sœur est pleine de personnalité et de gaité. Elle se trouve dans la grande ville de Limassol sur l’île de Chypre, et bénéficie du climat méditerranéen de cette région. Après son mariage, la sœur d’Anastasia a déménagé à Chypre, et lui a demandé de créer une maison à son image, après avoir acheté celle-ci, une bâtisse typique du pays, mais compartimentée et peu lumineuse à cause de ses petites fenêtres. Anastasia a commencé par agrandir les ouvertures des fenêtres, et à moderniser tous les espaces. Une cheminée à pris place dans le salon, créant un point focal dans la pièce.
Comme il fallait que la propriétaire reçoive sa nombreuse famille, une chambre a été ajoutée en transformant une terrasse, et est devenue la chambre du couple. L’ancienne et immense salle de bain a été transformée en une chambre d’amis. Une autre chambre a été convertie en un dressing et une salle de bain. La plus grande partie du mobilier a été réalisé sur mesure, afin d’exploiter au mieux toute la surface de cette maison de 170m2 Une professionnelle aguerrie comme Anastasia a su organiser au mieux les espaces, les optimiser, les moderniser avec un maximum d’efficacité, et c’est pour cela que c’est toujours une excellente idée de faire appel à un architecte d’intérieur pour tirer tout le potentiel d’une propriété. This house, a blend of design and colour, designed by interior architect Anastasia Kuznetsova for her own sister, is full of personality and cheerfulness. It is located in the large city of Limassol on the island of Cyprus, and benefits from the region’s Mediterranean climate. After getting married, Anastasia’s sister moved to Cyprus and asked her to create a house in her own image. She bought the house, which was typical of the country, but compartmentalised and lacking in light because of its small windows. Anastasia began by enlarging the window openings and modernising all the spaces. A fireplace took its place in the living room, creating a focal point in the room.
As the owner needed to accommodate her large family, a bedroom was added by converting a terrace, and became the couple’s bedroom. The huge old bathroom was transformed into a guest bedroom. Another bedroom was converted into a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. Most of the furniture was made to measure, to make the most of the entire surface area of this 170m2 house.
