Cet appartement parisien avait perdu toute son âme ancienne depuis des années, et nécessitait des travaux pour que ses 140m2 soient mis en valeur. C'est donc un appartement haussmannien rénové en style actuel où les éléments patrimoniaux ont retrouvé leur place que nous découvrons ici. C'est l'architecte d'intérieur Camille Hermand qui a été chargée par les propriétaires de réaliser ce projet, qui mêle éléments contemporains et anciens avec un plan moderne.
Dans les années 70, il avait été totalement vidé de son esprit haussmannien, comme il était d'usage à l'époque. Les moulures et le parquet en point de Hongrie sont réapparus, reconstitués comme à l’origine, restituant à l’appartement son style classique. La cheminée n’est plus en marbre sculpté comme au 19e siècle, mais très épurée et écologique, avec son foyer fermé labellisé Flamme verte. This Parisian flat had lost all of its old soul over the years, and was in need of some work to bring out the best in its 140m2. What we have here is a Haussmann-style flat that has been renovated in a contemporary style, where the heritage features have been restored to their rightful place. Interior designer Camille Hermand was commissioned by the owners to carry out this project, which blends contemporary and antique elements with a modern layout.
In the 1970s, it had been completely stripped of its Haussmannian spirit, as was customary at the time. The mouldings and herringbone parquet flooring have reappeared, recreated as they were originally, restoring the flat's classic style. The fireplace is no longer in carved marble, as it was in the 19th century, but is now sleek and environmentally friendly, with a closed hearth that has been awarded the Flamme Verte label.
