The colours are soft, a mix of pink and blue, and very cheerful. Interior decor is sometimes criticised for being too conservative, with a profusion of white and wood flats and houses. Here, however, there's nothing of the sort: this classic Victorian house has retained some fine classical features, such as its period staircase and mouldings, but is very bold. The choice of colours is admirable, as are the options, such as the painted ceilings in the bedrooms and the second living room, and the well-balanced, successful mix of styles.
