Située au Pays Basque espagnol, dans la ville de Gipuzkoa, cette maison rénovée comme un refuge rustique est bâtie sur deux niveaux. Réalisée par Amai Studio, la rénovation n'a laissé que les quatre murs extérieurs de façade de cette maison de village ancienne en duplex, et c'est une coquille vide qui a été entièrement repensée pour la famille des propriétaires. Le but était de conserver l'authenticité et le charme original de la maison, tout en la modernisant, afin qu'elle continue à s'intégrer naturellement dans son paysage urbain.
Elle allie désormais la chaleur du bois et les éléments modernes pour créer un univers douillet et authentique. La cuisine a été placée à côté du salon, afin de laisser à ce dernier l'espace le plus important de ce niveau de rez-de-chaussée. La pièce avec sa grande table de salle à manger est idéale pour réunir toute la famille et les amis, dans une atmosphère à la décoration naturelle et intemporelle. Located in the Spanish Basque Country, in the town of Gipuzkoa, this house, renovated as a rustic retreat, is built over two levels. Carried out by Amai Studio, the renovation left only the four outer walls of the facade of this old duplex village house, and it is an empty shell that has been completely redesigned for the owners' family. The aim was to retain the house's authenticity and original charm, while modernising it so that it continued to blend naturally into its urban landscape.
It now combines the warmth of wood with modern elements to create a cosy, authentic environment. The kitchen has been placed next to the living room, to give it the most important space on this ground floor level. The room, with its large dining table, is ideal for bringing family and friends together in a natural, timeless decor.
