Si cet appartement était habitable immédiatement, sa nouvelle propriétaire intéressée par le travail des professionnels de Paraná Muebles, qui avait optimisé leur showroom, leur a confié son aménagement afin de le rendre plus vaste, au moins dans son organisation (il est toujours difficile de pousser les murs). Ainsi est né ce petit duplex équipé sur mesure dans un immeuble récent, un endroit désormais fonctionnel et agréable.

La mezzanine autrefois imposante qui allait jusqu'aux fenêtres et donnait une impression d'étouffement, a été abattue et remplacée par une structure plus légère et aérienne. La décoration faite de tons naturels amplifie cette sensation de luminosité. La cuisine qui était fermée a été ouverte dans ce petit duplex équipé sur mesure par les professionnels, et ce pied-à-terre à Buenos Aires est devenu lumineux et agréable pour son occupante qui y réside à chaque voyage dans la capitale de l'Argentine.  Photo : Daniel Karp

A small duplex fitted out to measure for more light

Although the flat was ready to move into immediately, the new owner was interested in the work of the professionals at Paraná Muebles, who had optimised their showroom, and entrusted them with the task of fitting it out to make it larger, at least in terms of its organisation (it's always difficult to push the walls out). The result is a small, custom-fitted duplex apartment in a new building, which is now a pleasant, functional space.

The once imposing mezzanine, which reached right up to the windows and gave a suffocating impression, has been knocked down and replaced by a lighter, airier structure. The decor, in natural tones, enhances the feeling of luminosity. The kitchen, which was closed off, was opened up in this small duplex, which was fitted out to measure by professionals, and this pied-à-terre in Buenos Aires has become bright and pleasant for its inhabitant, who resides here every time she travels to Argentina's capital.
