Construite au début de l'année 2020, cette maison de ville à l'intérieur bois est une sorte de cube recouverte de briques à l'extérieur. Son plan atypique présente trois niveaux. Elle bénéficie de deux toits terrasses, et d'un jardin. Située dans l'ancien quartier industriel de Sorgenfri, à Malmö en Suède, elle a été conçue ainsi que ses voisines accolées, par le cabinet d'architecture Förstberg Ling qui a été récompensé pour ce projet. En effet, il a été considéré comme inventif et intéressant à tous points de vue, des matériaux et des détails à la fonctionnalité.
Dès le seuil de la porte d'entrée, on découvre des matériaux chaleureux : bois brut, briques artisanales, sol en béton lisse, et de hautes fenêtres donnant sur un jardin. Le salon en double hauteur est sans aucun doute la pièce maîtresse de cette maison de ville. Elle possède également une cuisine ouverte et une salle à manger. L'ensemble est harmonieux et accueillant, comme une maison en bois que l'on aurait installée en ville.
Built at the beginning of 2020, this town house with a wooden interior is a sort of cube covered with bricks on the outside. Its atypical floor plan has three levels. It has two roof terraces and a garden. Located in the former industrial district of Sorgenfri, in Malmö, Sweden, it and its adjoining buildings were designed by the award-winning Förstberg Ling architectural practice. It was considered inventive and interesting from every point of view, from materials and details to functionality.
From the moment you step through the front door, you're greeted by warm materials: unfinished wood, handmade bricks, a smooth concrete floor, and tall windows overlooking a garden. The double-height living room is undoubtedly the centrepiece of this town house. It also has an open-plan kitchen and dining room. The whole is harmonious and welcoming, like a wooden house that has been set up in the city.
