Cet appartement de 48m2 au décor inspiré par la nature mêle héritage stalinien, papier peint paysager et laiton lumineux
Pensé pour de courts séjours, cet appartement de 48m2 au décor inspiré par la nature, réinterprète l’héritage d’un bâtiment historique de l'époque stalinienne. La designer Irina Shevchenko a signé ici un décor théâtral, verdoyant, et résolument graphique, où l’intérieur avoir fait entrer le paysage extérieur. Il est situé à Sotchi dans le sanatorium Kirov, construit en 1936 au cœur d'un vaste jardin tropical. Ce lieu avait des contraintes structurelles qui ne permettaient pas de toucher aux murs porteurs existants. L’espace a donc été rythmé par des groupes de meubles soigneusement positionnés, capables de redessiner les proportions visuellement. La décoration joue avec les codes classiques, tout en injectant une énergie végétale très présente. Le papier peint paysager, aux verts profonds, enveloppe les murs comme une fresque narrative, créant une immersion immédiate.
Le projet est une sorte de mise en scène inspirée de la nature environnante, visible depuis chaque ouverture. Le motif du papier peint, est signé par Irina Dolgikh, ethnologue et artiste ayant une grande expérience dans la restauration des arts monumentaux. Cette artiste a évoqué ici une forêt qui dialogue avec des matières lumineuses, notamment le laiton, utilisé comme fil conducteur. Une console sculpturale, dessinée sur mesure, occupe une position symbolique centrale. À cet endroit, une cheminée avait été envisagée, rappelant les codes classiques. Designed for short stays, this 48m2 apartment reinterprets the heritage of a historic building from the Stalinist era. Designer Irina Shevchenko has created a theatrical, green and resolutely graphic décor, where the interior brings the outside landscape inside. It is located in Sochi in the Kirov sanatorium, built in 1936 in the heart of a vast tropical garden. This location had structural constraints that meant the existing load-bearing walls could not be touched. The space was therefore punctuated by carefully positioned groups of furniture, capable of visually redesigning the proportions. Its decor plays with classic codes, while injecting a very present vegetal energy. The landscape wallpaper, in deep greens, envelops the walls like a narrative fresco, creating immediate immersion.
This project is a kind of staging inspired by the surrounding nature, visible from every opening. The wallpaper pattern was designed by Irina Dolgikh, an ethnologist and artist with extensive experience in the restoration of monumental arts. Here, the artist has evoked a forest that dialogues with luminous materials, notably brass, used as a common thread. A sculptural console, custom-designed, occupies a symbolic central position. A fireplace had been planned for this spot, recalling classical codes. In the kitchen, a gilded niche captures the light and suggests rays filtering through foliage. Photo : Alexander Plyaskin.
