Dans un immeuble de 1966 aux larges fenêtres, Ruetemple signe la rénovation d'un studio de 40m2 où le passé dialogue avec le présent. Dans ce petit appartement le temps ne s’efface pas, il s'étire à travers les époques. Le cabinet Ruetemple a réalisé un intérieur pour le jeune couple de propriétaires travaillant dans l’informatique, en respectant l’architecture de 1966. Les larges fenêtres, rares pour l’époque, sont devenues le point de départ du projet. Les architectes Daria Butakhina et Alexander Kudimov ont supprimé les cloisons pour libérer le volume et laisser circuler la lumière.
Le parquet d’origine restauré recouvre tous les sols, et a conservé son allure chaleureuse et vintage. Les tons du bois et le microciment posé au sol de la cuisine et au plafond modernisent la décoration du studio. Une estrade relie le salon et la chambre, comme un plateau commun posé dans la pièce. La chambre se glisse derrière une paroi en pavés de verre qui filtre la vue. La cuisine est isolée avec légèreté grâce à une cloison vitrée, presque invisible. Le plan de travail et la crédence en acier inoxydable évoquent le passé industriel de ce bâtiment des années 60. Le long comptoir installé sous les fenêtres sert de bureau et de table. In a 1966 building with large windows, Ruetemple has renovated a 40m2 studio flat where the past dialogues with the present. In this small apartment, time does not fade away, but stretches across the ages. Ruetemple designed an interior for the young couple who own the apartment and work in IT, respecting the 1966 architecture. The large windows, rare for the time, became the starting point for the project. Architects Daria Butakhina and Alexander Kudimov removed the partitions to free up space and let light flow through.
The original parquet flooring has been restored and covers all the floors, retaining its warm, vintage look. The tones of the wood and the microcement laid on the kitchen floor and ceiling modernise the studio's décor. A platform connects the living room and bedroom, like a shared stage set in the room. The bedroom is tucked behind a glass block wall that filters the view. The kitchen is lightly separated by an almost invisible glass partition. A stainless steel worktop and splashback evoke the industrial past of this 1960s building. The long counter under the windows serves as a desk and table.
