This project, designed by Maj-La Pizzelli in collaboration with architect Lucia Cataldi, captures the essence of Puglia. The vaulted spaces are prominent, and the neutral color palette lets the limestone, terrazzo, and waxed floors take center stage. The result is a simple elegance where the historic architecture remains deliberately visible and guides every interior design choice.
In the living areas, natural light serves as a unifying thread. The windows frame the garden and visually extend the spaces outward. Its white walls capture every shift in light and reveal the stone’s texture. The original floors, some of which have been restored, create a strong visual presence. The simplicity of the decor highlights the volumes and proportions. Every detail seems chosen to complement the structure rather than transform it.
The furniture blends Scandinavian pieces, Italian designs, and elements created specifically for the house.
